Craig Skotdal

Co-President | Asset Management

Craig grew up in the family business, washing windows, pressure-washing sidewalks and painting fire hydrants throughout his youth. He learned at an early age that paying attention to the details results in superior properties. Today, Craig inspires the Skotdal Real Estate team to mind the details as they create exceptional experiences for the company’s tenants. At the same time, he cares greatly about the fine points of each Skotdal development, ensuring that the buildings are storied and unique, yet authentically Everett. A resident of North Everett, Craig is fully involved in the community, leaning in on every downtown improvement effort, and continuously serving on the Downtown Everett Association Board of Directors for over 25 years.

Andrew Skotdal

Co-President | Finance, Leasing & Development

Every time he sees an Alaska Airlines plane fly overhead, Andy smiles. In his role at Skotdal Real Estate, Andy not only oversees finance, leasing and development, but he is also actively engaged in state, county and city efforts to bring more business, services and amenities to Everett such as the creation of a commercial airline terminal at Paine Field and the expansion of Providence Medical Center.

Growing up in the business, Andy has fond memories of playing at Glacier Vista and Westwood, assets that are still owned by the company today. He was also inspired by his mother, who modeled the importance of caring for others in all her actions. Andy is proud to honor her memory by supporting a company culture where everyone, from employees to tenants to the greater Everett community, is important.

Dave Graef

Leasing Manager

With over 35 years in the commercial leasing world, Dave has been around the block. Every block in Downtown Everett in fact! Our office, retail and industrial tenants think of Dave as a problem solver, a person who can help with growth challenges and surprises, space planning conundrums and special service needs.

Prior to his current role, Dave spent 23 years with The Bartell Drug Company where he learned to develop win-win partnerships for both tenant and landlord. He has been bringing that keen skill to work at Skotdal Real Estate since 2012. When he isn’t wearing his Leasing Maverick hat, Dave can be found outside – skiing, waterskiing, boating or spending time with his wife and grown children.

Melody Warouw

Vice President of Operations

Like many of our team members, Melody started in our industry at a young age, learning the value of honest hard work as she cleaned apartments, striped parking lots, gave leasing tours and picked dandelions out of gardens. Her tenacity paid off, and Melody quickly rose in her career and was responsible for larger and larger assets and then portfolios of PNW buildings and communities.

Now, thirty years later, she leads the management and daily operations of our commercial and residential buildings. When Melody isn’t inspecting her expectations at work, she dusts off her Super Woman cape and volunteers – everywhere. From serving meals at the Ronald McDonald House, to endless efforts for the United Way of Snohomish County, to collecting and distributing Toys for Tots, Melody is a force of goodness in our community.

Tyler Botz

Commercial Portfolio Manager

As the manager of our commercial portfolio, Tyler is what we’d call a Smooth Operator. And no, not like the song. He makes certain that our office, retail and industrial properties are functioning at their highest level every single day, so that our tenants can focus on their business, not on building problems. Tyler has a wealth of knowledge about all aspects of building operations, having been a project manager, property manager, contractor, maintenance manager and yes, even a train engineer in his long career. He knows how to make things run!

When Tyler isn’t ensuring every I is dotted and every T is crossed, he can be found hiking in the mountains, playing golf or softball, or simply walking from his home downtown to his favorite restaurant destination, El Paraiso.
